Observer’s Best of Dallas is on stands now…

The Dallas Observer’s infamous Best Of Dallas is on the streets. The issue itself is a nice step up with its art direction and design. The scantily clad Alice in Wonderland babes were a little tacky, but well done. Should make for some good coffee shop talk over the next few days.

A little self serving highlight is that my gallery The Public Trust was the writer’s choice for Best Art Gallery. The Party got the writer’s nod for Best Dance Party, however I have never seen a prep or a goth at any of their shows as the writeup states. Sober and I discussed that today and both agreed that we’d love to see a tall, tan, blonde dude in deck shoes with a goth mistress grinding it out on his chino’s.

so true your gallery is the best gallery ive seen around the area & you have had some fantastic shows.
still, cheers to the others for working the art. also, i’ve been to some of The Party’s “parties” and i’ve never seen a prep or goth. i did see a skinny pale guy sans shirt dancing the night away but i’d hardly consider him a goth.
