So this Saturday is going to be another opening filled weekend. Beyond that the Dallas Art Dealers Association is having 2 panel discussions that are definitely worthwhile topics.

Panel Discussions will take place at the Bath House Cultural Center, located at 521 E. Lawther Drive. Below are the topics and their respective time slots.

10:30 – 12:00 noon
Panel One for Artists:
How to solicit a gallery, a museum, or a non-profit art space

1:00 – 2:30 PM
Panel Two For Art Collectors:
How to start and maintain a fine art collection. The Basics: Framing, lighting, conserving,etc.

I cannot express to any artist how valuable that first discussion will be. I field that question more than any other. So if you are trying to “make it” as an artist, don’t miss this one.
