Dallas based photographer Misty Keasler will be at Photographs Do Not Bend this Thursday Nov. 30th and Friday Dec. 1st from 6-8pm for a book signing of her first monograph Love Hotels which has just been published by Chronicle Books. A continuation of Keasler’s work documenting spaces, the book consists of 80 portraits of the intensely themed rooms of the Japanese love hotel.

To mark this occasion a limited edition boxed set (pictured above) has been issued. They are in an edition of 30 with 5 artist proofs. Each set comes with a signed and editioned 8×10 chromogenic print and a book which bears a limited edition boxed set emboss stamp on the title page. The contents are housed in a hand made pink wooden box and set atop a pink velour pillow. The limited edition packaging was designed by Brian Gibb of Art Prostitute. These will go very fast, as they are cooler than the other side of the pillow, so don’t sleep on it.
