In case you didn’t know, Texas-OU weekend is this coming weekend. The mass exodus from Oklahoma will probably begin Thursday. For those of you that drive I-35 on a daily basis, this might be a good time to find an alternate route. If you have no alternate route, then I’m sorry. You will be drving with the Okie’s all weekend and speaking from experience, it is not fun.

Coming out of Denton there are back roads you can take that will get you to Lewisville, but I am not sure about alternates from there as I was always hopping back on I-35 after that. I am sure it will be bad all day Friday. Just thought I would post this little heads up in case anyone forgot or just didn’t know – better to find out now so that if you have to drive that way you will at least know who to curse at while sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
