car wash jack

Has anyone had a problem with homeless types trying to dry off your car at some self-carwash locations in the city? I nearly felt “carjacked” the other night. I use to try and help guys who were friendly to make a couple of bucks by letting them dry off my car–but after my scare the other night, I’m only going to self-wash places in snooty neighborhoods or to auto-wash places and such. Anyone else had this problem? Dallas is such a car city; I wonder how much the police are checking on this issue–forced drying. I called the police on those thugs the other night.

    Be careful Mark!

If you go to a “snooty” neighborhood, you’ll be criticized and shamed by all of our friends who insist on living in white neighborhoods in the middle of non-snooty areas of town.

Why would you want to live in an area where no one wants to car jack you, the dry cleaner delivers your shirts into your garage and no one is waiting for you to go to work so they can rob you?

Boy, don’t ever go live north of Northwest Highway, or you’re a minority hater! You might just be the tallest midget in town!

Better to live in a part of town that has character and crime is going to be an ever-increasing problem. I would not want to be in Oak Cliff right now, as I worked at Reunion Arena today and recommended it to everyone I thought to be a criminal.

Are you kidding me? I was working at the convention center all weekend and don’t recall seeing anyone who looked criminal, just freaked out. I really hope you don’t continue “volunteering” at the shelter. You should be ashamed of yourself!
