Grassroots Advocacy Works This Time
Through some effective email advocacy the Fort Worth Avenue Development Group was effective in getting the Dallas City Plan Commission to unanimously approve the Fort Worth Avenue Comprehensive Land Use Study.
In an email from FWADG they reported …the Dallas City Plan Commission unanimously approved the Fort Worth Avenue Comprehensive Land Use Study in a surprising 15-0 vote. Commissioners lauded the work of the Land Use Steering Committee, and acknowledged that the landslide of e-mails and phone calls they received from citizens like you urging approval of the study contributed to their decision.
