Deep Ellum Newsletter

For some time now the Deep Ellum Residents council has been producing a small newsletter that highlighted community news and other things going on in the neighborhood. Both Mark and I have been working closely with Residents Council Prez Gianna Madrini, and we have gotten the go ahead on a new design, that will take the newsletter from an 8.5″x11″ foldout down to a 5.5″x8.5″ magazine. The new format will be a lot easier to take with you and serve as an ever changing pocket guide for Deep Ellum. We will also be starting up a Flickr group where people can submit photos taken in Deep Ellum to be used as cover images. Stay tuned for all the details. You can expect to see the new look hopefully no later than September.

It’d be cool if the newsletter was online too…
