    While a Muslim prayer in French is certainly kind of interesting to read, at least for an English speaker fascinated with languages, I have to admit I don’t at all understand your caption for it.

    I didn’t think Dallas could be “[not] Islamic” any more than it could be “Islamic”, being a city in a country in which “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”

    I hope I’ve simply misunderstood and you’re not trying to be hateful. . . .

    I was thinking of how not-islamic dallas is and how not-french dallas is, yet how “french-ish” dallas likes to pretend to be and how many muslims secret themselves in our christian suburbs–and the holy quran is quite beautiful, even in french. the title might refer to interpol or american nationalism or incompetence dealing with terrorism in a radically multicultural society. i’m muslim in a pomo way, so i would never be hateful…
