Almost convicted felon and civil rights activist Al Lipscomb might run for the District 8 seat. You may remember Mr. Lipscomb for 2 things: comparing the strong mayor initiative to Nazi Germany and for fronting a company that falsely appeared to be minority-owned, so that it would be eligible for set-aside contracts from government. Sounds like a great man to represent community interests, yes?
